Overall, a pleasant stay with a convenient location about 2.5 kilometers from the city center, which is easily walkable. Taxis to the center cost around 50 pesos one way. Great beachfront location with the added bonus of kayaks available anytime. However, the Wi-Fi was a bit weak.
Beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Bacalar. My family loved the beachfront facility. Enjoyed the sunrise and sunset on the dock. My daughter and I loved the instagrammable swings on the water. Kayaks and paddleboards available and free to use. The owner is very accomodating. She helped me arranged a boat tour despite the short notice. We will definitely stay again.
Nice location on the lagoon with kayaks to use and swimming or sunbathing at the dock. Rooms are a little dated and need the fixtures changing. Overall had a nice time here.
The owners are super chill and nice. They live on the property. Kayaks are included in the booking here. It is away from downtown bacalar so you definitely need a car unless you bike here everyday but it was worth staying here because it was so peaceful and relaxing! You can grill here and drink at the private pier that they have. Just a great experience. The bed was comfy and big. I just wish the sink was cleaner but I would definitely give them a 4.5 out of 5 as a 3 star hotel!
